Immediate opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to work on a 4-6 week assignment in London ON.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for contacting prospects to influence and secure development meetings for the team; Manages and develops schedules.
Provides administrative support to team (i.e. managing calendars, travel itineraries, travel logistics, and expense management).
Collects detailed supporting materials that are pertinent to each prospect call and prepares briefing materials for all parties involved in the respective meetings.
Completes extensive research using internal database, internet, and a variety of online sources.
Responds in a knowledgeable, professional and timely manner to telephone calls and emails
Responsible for database management.

Skills/Education

2 year community college diploma; university degree preferred
2-4 years of experience
Minimum 3 years of administrative experience supporting senior management and managing relationships with external clients, including senior executives.
Experience in a fundraising environment is preferable.
Experience in project/event management is an asset.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional customer service skills, with sound judgement and the ability to respond to internal and external clients at all levels of an organization in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence dealing with a diverse corporate contact group
Demonstrate planning and problem solving skills to organize own work effectively in a proactive and resourceful approach.
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
